The Twister Bicycle

The is call the ‘Locust’ invented by Josef Cadek. It features parts that fold neatly into a circular central frame. Ideal for travelling by trains and buses. You see it in it's half folded position. It does straighten out and fold into a circle.

Freedom Framed Bicycle in London

Designed by M and C Saatchi, this ads frequents the London area in trying to promote tfl's campaign for more cyclists in London. I recognised the backdrop as Parliament Hill Fields where I spend much of my youth. This aside the cycle concept is quite clever, but then the most influential genre in this world are the media and advertising industry.

TFL Olympic Poster

The 2012 Olympics are in full swing in London now and seemingly tfl (Transport for London) have dished out some good advice for getting around during the games, namely riding a cycle. I like the way they use humour to get the message across. It does however have the desired effect of getting the message across.

Barclay's Cycle Hire in London

Great idea in London however the bikes are tanks to ride, many riders do not have any road sense, but the positives outweigh the negatives big time. Pity it has to be sponsored by a rouge bank who have no real interest in a more environmental friendly world!

A Tower of Four Bicycles in One

Vertigo is the last this you need riding a tower of four bikes. Ride 'em cowboy comes to mind looking at the rider and the pose. Better look out for low bridges ahead one thinks!

The Red Devil in Winter

Those of you who follow the Tour de France will know this character. It is of course the Red Devil who follows the tour each Summer and never fails to capture the media with his antics and cycling orientated contraptions. This is clearly not the Tour de France with snow about, but he is still up to his eccentric tricks even in winter.

Tricycle? No Bicycle!

At first sight this has all the makings of a tricycle, but on closer inspection it is a bicycle. A slight model on the old penny farthing I might add. All fun in the cycling world.

A True Road Biker

Thought this was quite funny and at first sight thought it was a real bike. I'm sure this bike has flat tires as well! Judging by the proximity to the ground is also has very low maintenance.....

Not For Road Use

Well it goes, but doesn't look comfortable or practical. Also, trying to get a replacement tyre would be near on impossible! By the way, where's your helmet love!?

A Mountain Biker With A Death Wish

This may be a snapshot of this action, but to me I just want to know if he survived! Living on the edge seems to be many mountain bikers ambition, this is no exception.

An Interesting Concept Bike From The Specialized Bike Company

This concept bike certainly turns a few eyes and even more if used on the road. The design has an appeal although like most concept bikes ends up too extrovert and too expensive to become a marketable model. Mind you the money the Specialized Company have made means they have wads of disposiable income to invest in these kinds of ventures.

RevoPower Is Here For All 26" Wheeled Bicycles

This is called the RevoPower Wheel it turns your regular pedal powered bicycle into a Gas Powered Bicycle. It is a cheap and easy way to get about without the sweat and effort although it does defeat a big chunk of reasons for riding s abike in the first place! It consists of a 25cc two-stroke gas-powered engine and gears within the front wheel of a bicycle. This system can fit onto any 26" wheeled bike. Not bad!
